## What you'll see in Slack

Once connected, WhiteWhale sends alerts directly to your Slack. Each alert includes the signal source, a quote or detail from that source, and a link back to the account in WhiteWhale or your CRM.

You can also receive alerts for account suggestions when new matches are found, and deal revival notifications if you have a CRM connected.

## Step 1: Add the WhiteWhale app to your Slack channel

During onboarding you'll be prompted to add the WhiteWhale app to your Slack workspace. Search for **WhiteWhale** in the Slack App Directory and add it to the channel where you want alerts to appear.

If you missed this during onboarding, you can add the app at any time from the Slack App Directory.

## Step 2: Turn on your notifications

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to Settings">
    Click **Settings** in the left nav and scroll down to **User Notifications**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enable the notifications you want">

    | ------------------------ | ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |

    At minimum, enable **Daily Signals** and **Assigned Accounts** to get full value from the integration.
  </Step>
</Steps>
