There are three ways to assign suggested accounts to your team, depending on how many you’re working through at once.

Option 1: Assign one at a time

Click directly on a suggestion and click Add, then select which team member it should go to. They’ll be notified automatically when the account is assigned to them. Use this when you want to review each account individually before assigning it.

Option 2: Bulk assign or round-robin

1

Select the accounts you want to assign

Use the checkboxes to select individual accounts, or select all suggestions at once.
2

Click Activate

You’ll be prompted to choose how to assign them.
3

Choose an assignment method

  • Assign to one person — all selected accounts go to a single team member
  • Round-robin — accounts are evenly distributed across your team

Option 3: Filter first, then assign

This is the most powerful approach for territory-based or segment-based teams. Use the filter bar to cut your suggestions list down to a specific slice, then bulk assign that slice to the right rep. Examples:
  • Filter by country → assign all Canadian accounts to the rep who covers Canada
  • Filter by employee count → assign SMB accounts to your SMB rep, enterprise to your enterprise rep
  • Filter by industry → assign fintech accounts to your fintech specialist
If your CRM is connected, WhiteWhale shows the current CRM owner on each suggestion. You can use this to assign accounts to match existing ownership — or deliberately overwrite it if ownership has changed.
