In your search results, you’ll see two types of accounts — monitored accounts (already active) and suggestions shown in orange (found by WhiteWhale but not yet tracked). Activating a suggestion turns it into a monitored account with full signal data, Why Now summaries, and live updates.

How to activate suggestions

Select the accounts you want to activate

Use the checkboxes to select individual suggestions or select all at once. WhiteWhale will show you how many of your selection are suggestions vs. already monitored.

Click Activate

You’ll be prompted to choose how to assign them.

Choose an assignment method

  • Assign to one person — all selected accounts go to a single team member
  • Round-robin — accounts are evenly split across your team
Once activated, the accounts switch from suggestions to monitored. This means they get live updates, new signals, and full Why Now summaries — all the details that were locked behind the preview unlock.
Try to activate as many suggestions as your plan allows. Monitored accounts get live signal updates every day — suggestions don’t. The sooner you activate, the sooner you know when something changes.
