How to mute a signal

From the Signals page, click the bell icon next to the signal you want to mute. When the bell turns red, the signal is muted. Click it again to unmute.

What muting does

Muting stops the signal from sending alerts through Slack, email, the API, and webhooks. The signal keeps running in the background — matches still appear on company cards and in account profiles, they just won’t actively notify you.

When to mute vs. leave active

A good rule of thumb: keep alerts on for signals that should change how you act on an account right now. Mute signals that are useful for context but not urgent enough to interrupt your workflow.
