Account Suggestions is WhiteWhale’s prospecting engine. Instead of uploading a list, you describe your ICP — industry, geography, company size, and signals — and WhiteWhale finds accounts that match and already have signal activity. It runs continuously and surfaces new accounts as they become relevant.
How to get to Suggestions
There are two ways to reach the Suggestions setup:- Go to the Suggestions tab in the left nav and click Turn On or Edit Search
- Go to Add Accounts and click Find Accounts
Setting up your search
Choose your signal filters (optional)
Select any signals you want accounts to have matched. You can mark signals as Must Have or Exclude — but use this sparingly.
Set your ICP filters
Fill in the standard firmographic filters:
- Geography — countries or US states
- Industry — maps to LinkedIn’s industry categories. If you’re not sure what to call an industry, look up a known good-fit customer on LinkedIn and use whatever industry is listed on their profile.
- Employee count — set a range that matches your ICP sweet spot
Review the estimate
WhiteWhale will show you:
- How many potential companies match your criteria
- How many have already been scanned
- How many are currently active in your account list
- How many remain to be scanned
Reviewing and accepting suggestions
Suggested accounts appear in the Suggestions tab highlighted in orange. For each one you’ll see:- Which signals it matched
- The date the signals were found
- A preview of the company information
